Try to respect the privacy of others. Avoid using names if possible. Avoid using visible email addresses (see Scrambling Emails below). If you would like your email address to appear in any section so that others can get in touch with you (UMass English Grad Students, Officers, Groups, Events etc.), please add it yourself.

Scramble Email Addresses

To scramble an email address, put brackets around the email address followed by the text you would like to appear on the webpage. The result will be unreadable by most automated email search technology.
