rssTwo soccer tournaments coming up, and the English Dept needs to represent. Channel that pent-up frustration and anger and use it on the field (in good sportsmanlike fashion).
April 25 : GSS Soccer Tournament & BBQ
May 2 : SoccerFest 2009 (8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.)
The latter tourney requires registration, see http://www.soccerfest.org/tournament.htm for information. We will likely enter the "Just for Fun" Coed category, so everyone who would like to play should sign up!
If you would be interested in playing, please email Lisha Daniels Storey: lstorey(at)english.umass.edu. Let me know which tournament(s) you can make, what days & times of the week would be good for some short practice sessions, and any team name suggestions you might have (last year's Panopticon FU really puzzled some other teams).
